The program integrates 3 core elements in the implementation of its curriculum: 1) theater training, 2) positive social reinforcement through strong relationships built between the students and the staff, as well as between the students themselves, and 3) careful use of strong age-appropriate motivators such as video games and noncompetitive physical activity. Spotlight uniquely integrates these elements to facilitate growth in social pragmatic skills in a nurturing and accessible environment.
