Marissa is a licensed mental health clinician at New England Academy who specializes in creating supportive, accepting, and action-oriented spaces for healing and growth. She earned her master’s degree from Lesley University and brings experience from higher levels of care, including HLOC and PHP/IOP settings, most recently at Bournewood Hospital. With a specialization in expressive arts therapy, she creates therapeutic spaces that honor diverse ways of processing, communicating, and being. Marissa also integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and play therapy approaches to help individuals build skills in emotional regulation, communication, and self-awareness.
