Laureen has over twenty-five years of experience in public education in various positions in general and special education settings. She also served as a Special Education Team Chairperson for students with diverse needs in PreK-22 settings. She most recently served as Assistant Director of Special Education for PreK-22 students in out of district placements working in collaboration with a diverse population of student, families, community stakeholders and over 20 public and private schools throughout the state. Laureen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Bridgewater State College and a Master of Education degree from Endicott College. She is a DESE licensed Special Education Administrator as well as a licensed Special Needs Teacher PreK-9.
